Mystery Story Final Draft–Your Language Arts Online Final Exam

When do we make a new paragraph in a story?

Image: iClipart

In Mrs. Sparhawk’s language arts classes, we’ve been writing mystery stories. Please type your mystery story into the comment box below. The mystery stories were a story swap with titles like “Ghost in My Room” and “I Saw It From the Shore.”

When typing on a blog, you can’t use the TAB key to indent, so please skip one line between your paragraphs.

Remember:

  • new speaker = new paragraph
  • new camera angle = new paragraph

And please give your story a TITLE at the top! There’s no point in centering your title today, as the comment box on English Emporium won’t allow you to center you title.

If you finish early, you must remain on English Emporium and add comments as “replies” to your classmates’ posted stories. Being “done early” is not an excuse to goof off. Use that time to offer positive feedback to other writers. Please avoid negative comments.

Today’s the last official day of language arts, so please take home your writing folder (your colored file folder) TODAY. There’s no point in putting it back in the milk crate now. Take it home!

  1. A Ghost in My Bedroom
I woke up one night, and saw the image of a ghostly figure, standing over me. I just about wet the bed! I tried to scream, but my jaw hung open with no sound coming out. Then the ghost chased me.
The ghost made a weird and creepy voice. It sounded like a dog howling. The Ghost asked,” Where is my journal?”
I ran to the guest room, and ran straight to the closet. I was wondering what the Ghost was talking about. I don’t know of any journals we have. I thought the ghost had left, it snuck up behind me. I ran as fast as I could into the bathroom. I looked at the mirror. It was covered in blood. It spelled out “your next!” I was so scared.
The Ghost yelled out a horrible cry. Then it began to go after me again.
I yelled out, “What do you want from me!” There was no response. I went down onto the basement, and I was in shock. There in the basement, was a gallows from a century ago. There was corpse everywhere. One of them looked like my mother. I was about to cry, but at the time I felt scared still.
The Ghost gave another wicked laugh.
Then I found out those books were journals in the house library. They were about my past relatives, and how they died in weird accidents. My family had a terrifying curse, and now I was about to face it too. All of a sudden my body started to burn. Ashes were all over the ground now.
    The Ghost said, “Goodbye.”
I was yelling in pain. That was the last of me.

  2. A Ghost in My Room

I woke up one night, and saw the image of a ghostly figure, standing over me. I was about to wet the bed! I tried to scream, but nothing came out.
Then the ghost said” Do have any banana?
I wondered why a ghost would want a banana, but I got out of bed anyways. I walked down the stair with the ghost behind me chanting about his cravings for bananas. When I got down stairs I went to the kitchen to get the ghost his banana.
I saw one on the ground, and it was covered in blood. So I gave it to the ghost, because I didn’t want to eat that disgusting thing.
Then the ghost left and I went back to bed.

  3. The Tooth Fairy
Dean woke up to the sound of “chink, chink, chink.” He couldn’t believe his eyes…Was he dreaming? A tiny, little woman, with insect wings was standing on top of his chest of drawers flying and picking her nose.
“AHHH! You are supposed to be asleep Dean,” said the Tooth Fairy. “How on earth am I supposed to pick my nose when someone is watching me, now go back to bed?
As Dean closed his eyes the Tooth Fairy started to pick her nose again until there was nothing left.
“Aaahh, much better…now about that tooth I had to get today.”
The tooth was as big as a turtle tooth and as heavy as a book to her. The Tooth Fairy was the smallest tooth fairy in Tooth Land so the tooth was hard to carry.
The Tooth Fairy took the tooth to Tooth Land where everything was made out of teeth. There were big, small, gold, and yellow teeth. The tooth she had turned out to be the biggest tooth there so she kept it as her prize possession. She said it reminded her of her uncle, The Famous Nose Picker.

  4. A Ghost in My Room
I woke up one night, and saw the image of a ghostly figure, standing over me. I just about wet the bed! I tried to scream, but my jaw hung open with no sound coming out. Then the ghost looked at me with its massive beady eyes. I tried to get up, but my body was paralyzed. “What is this thing?” I thought.

Finally the ghost asked “Have you seen my dance shoes?”

    “Huh?” I wondered.

“Yes I have lost them and now I cannot find them,” replied the ghost.”I went for my usual haunting stroll and I danced as I haunted. Apparently I lost them.”

“Wow,” I giggled.”I never thought a ghost would wear dance shoes.”

“Oh of course every ghost wears them because we need some comfort since we never sleep and all.”

“Ha-ha who knew ghosts could ever wear dance shoes. Could these be it?” I asked

“My shoes!” The ghost cried “How did you know where they were?”

“These shoes suddenly appeared on my bed yesterday.” I replied.

“Well I’ll be taking them!” The ghost yelled as he snatched the shoes from my hands. He slipped on his shoes and floated out my window.

I just stared after him thinking,” I hope he knows my dog used his shoes as chew toys!” I pulled the covers over my head and went to sleep. Giggling and imagining the ghost with his feet in slobbery shoes. What a surprise he would have!

  5. A Ghost in My Room
I woke up one night, and saw the image of a ghostly figure, standing over me. I just about wet the bed! I tried to scream, but my jaw hung open with no sound coming out. Then the ghost whispered something I couldn’t understand.

    “What?!” I asked.

    “John Dickens” it whispered.

“Who is he, Who are you?” I choked.

“That is not of importance, lad,” it mumbled.

“What do you want?” I inquired.

It hissed,“ Aaarg, you are the reason that I am dead, you filthy sea rat.”

“What did I do?!” I exclaimed.

“You killed me, John Dickens, and I will haunt you the rest of your miserable, little life.” It screamed.

“I am not John Dickens, My name is Sam Dickens.” I cried.

“You liar! You have every single aspect of ‘em!” it yelled.

“John Dickens is my great grandfather.” I said.

“Then I will do to you what he did to me!” it chuckled.

At this a cutlass appeared out of thin air in his hands. The spirit raised the blade and swung…

  6. I Saw It from the Shore
I was just standing on the shore, when the light from the lighthouse passed over a large, dark figure in the water. It looked like a very abstract human with a droopy cloak tattered and standing next to it was an even larger figure of exactly the same shaped.
My friend David hiding behind me like he had just seen a ghost. He managed to mutter out “lets go.”
I replied back “no way, let’s go check this out.” David always being the one to just play it safe, and me being the one to want to go investigate.
As he started to leave I grabbed his arm and pulled him back quickly. I dragged him against his will to investigate with me. As we started to walk to the boat when we heard an ear piercing shriek. When we had climbed on to the boat we saw a skeleton laying on a knife .
The first reaction David had was to scream like a little girl and run away but I got him before he got too far. As I start investigating searching for clues on any kind. As we looked we assumed this person had been here for a while because of how decayed it was.
We know how he died (the knife in his back) but we still needed why.
We looked at the obituaries in the newspaper to see who had recently passed away. Only one man fit the position. His name was John Hously he was wanted for thousands of dollars in gambling money lost over time.
Finally we called the cops and explained everything to them while they notified his family. I felt accomplished like I had really just helped someone figure out something.
“I want to be a detective when I grow up I said cheerfully.”
“Naww too much work for me, David replied” which really I knew that deep down he was saying I’m too big of a chicken to do anything like this. We walked home chatting about our discovery.

  7. The McGraw Gang’s Hangin’

I was the deputy sheriff in Flagstaff, Arizona. That durned McGraw Gang had shot poor old Al Jorgan. Through the heart, and stole the money out of the Wells Fargo Bank, and run off to the hills. I saddled up ol’ Jackrabbit (my horse) and rode after ‘em.
I said to my partner Tim “Try and keep the city under control.”
Tim asked “Can I have my money back?”
“If I catch the gang then maybe” I proclaimed
As I rode on I ran out of water and became very thirty. I found a house in the middle of know where . When I rode up and got off Jackrabbit boom! The house exploded and I was on the ground with three knives in my chest. As I blacked out there went the gang.
When I awoke I was in my bed. I thought to myself “Where is the gang.”When I sat up there was my partner.
“You are seriously injured, but you survived and you are safe for now.

  8. Money Isn’t Everything Just yesterday, Tom was the richest man in New Mexico. Today, he was just another criminal behind bars. If only he hadn’t stolen that accursed chocolate bar.
He really wanted that Hershey’s almond chocolate bar but, he left his wallet in his car.
He didn’t want to go get it because there was only one left and he thought someone might take it.
Then after they locked him up for a week he was missing those good old days with all the Hershey’s almond chocolate bars he could eat.
Every morning he would ask the sheriff if he can give him a Hershey’s almond chocolate bar but , he always said ‘’ no. ’’
Then one day I remembered I still had my wallet with my money in my Dodge Viper so I can pay the fine.
I asked him ‘’If he can bring me my wallet from my car?’’
    He replied ‘’ no. ‘’
Then I told him ‘’If you bring my wallet from my car you can keep the car.’’
Immediately he replied ‘’ What kind of car is it. ’’
I responded ‘’It is a Dodge Viper. ’’
Later he came back with my wallet and I said ’’ Thank You. ’’
Then I paid my fine and went to the store to buy myself a hundred Hershey’s almond chocolate bars.
Then I walked to a dealership to buy myself a new car while eating almond bars.

  9. A Ghost in My Room

I woke up one night, and saw the image of a ghostly figure, standing over me. I just about wet the bed! I tried to scream, but my jaw hung open with no sound coming out. Then the ghost opened her mouth really slow. A normal, teenage voice came out. “Have you seen my ipod?”

“What?” I managed to choke. I was sure the ghost was going to rip my head off or something.

“I lost it about eight months ago,” she said. “Have you seen it?” she demanded, very annoyed. She started looking through my drawers.

“No, no, I have it right here!” I squealed, obviously scared out of my mind.

She snatched the ipod out of my hands. “I’m glad I found it, or else my mom would have killed me.” She started out the door.

“Wait!” I stuttered. “You never told me who you were.”

She looked at me really hard. “I’m Chloe, and I used to live here before I died, right in that very bed. She pointed at my bed.

    “Oh, I murmured. “So, I mean, you’re a ghost?”

“No, you drip!” she screamed at me.

Suddenly I woke up, my heart pounding. My big sister, Katie, was standing beside my bed, jabbering away.

“And next time you try to take my ipod, I’ll suffocate you in your sleep!” She stormed out of the room, and I gave a sigh of relief.

  10. I Saw It from the Shore
I was just standing on the sea shore, when the light from the lighthouse passed over a large, dark figure in the water. It looked like a large man who was hurt, but there was something familiar about him. He was tall and more muscular than a normal man. As I called after him he turned and I could see the glowing blood red eyes that sent chills up my back. The creature started lumbering towards me when I turned and ran for the lighthouse.

The man kept walking toward me with a demonic gaze in his eyes. I kept running and running but he kept getting closer
“Get away!” I yelled. What did it want why was it following me at that moment I felt the creature grave my shoulder and ripped the necklace that my dead father gave me.
When I opened my eyes it was gone so I went home for the night. That morning my friend Lance we looked for hours then at around dusk we saw the man beast in the water my necklace in hand. We pelted it with rocks till it got to the shore then as we turned to run it lifted me of the ground. Lance picked up a small log and slammed the creature in the back of the legs the creature fell and as he did what looked like a wallet fell from his pocket, I grabbed it and looked inside when it opened there were soggy pictures of my mom and I wondered could this be my father and when I looked up the man was gone.

  11. I Saw It From the Shore
I was just standing on the sea shore, when the light from the lighthouse passed over a large, dark figure in the water. It looked like a huge man with long flowing hair.
“Who is that man in the water?” I asked.
    “I don’t know,” added Luke.
“Do you think it could be the man that went missing yesterday?” I wondered.
“Maybe, let’s go see who it is.” Luke decided
We went out to the sea shore very scared and frightened. We tried to be very quiet.
Luke screamed, “Oh my gosh! Did you see that?”
I then frightfully yelled, “No, what did you see?”
Luke was pale now and looked like he was in shock.
“Hello, Luke?” I said with a much quivered voice.
“Tell me you saw that.” Luke urged.
    “Saw what?” I demanded.
“When we were inside you saw him right? Well when we came out he just vanished.” Luke informed.
“Do you think he could be a ghost?” I wondered.
“Maybe, let’s go inside and see if he comes back.” Luke suggested.
We went back to our cabin, and when we looked back he was there.
“Okay I am really freaked out!” blurted Luke.
“Maybe he’s scared of us.” I suggested, “Let’s go say hi.”
We went out to our porch and yelled hi. The man waved at us to come closer.
“He wants us to come closer,” Luke warned.
“Let’s go see what he wants,” I sighed.
When we got closer he called out and said, “Hi.”
“He sounds like dad,” I said.
When we got closer we saw it was our father.
    “Dad?” Luke gasped.
    “Hey Luke!” he greeted.
“Where have you been?” I questioned.
“Lost at sea, but I’m back. Let’s go eat. I’m starving.” He said.
We went back inside, ate, and went to bed.

  12. Money Isn’t Everything

Just yesterday, Tom was the richest man in New Mexico. Today, he was just another criminal behind bars. If only he hadn’t stolen that accursed ruby. He just wanted it so bad after Tim told him about it.

Tim had screamed, “Take it! It is nothing!” Just a few moments after he stole the ruby.

Of course, the police came and only caught Tom.

The next day, the cops found him dead in his cell, murdered. Someone had took everything from him during the night, and they held a funeral for him.

The cops were about the crime in the cell, asking, “Why weren’t you there!!! The sheriff screamed at the policeman that was supposed to be on duty.

“I was!” laughed and yelled the policeman.
“Where were you, when the man got killed, then?” roared the sheriff.

Then, out of the ordinary, the policeman broke down in sobs and grumbled “ I did it.”

    The sheriff screamed, “What?”

“I told you,” said the policeman, “I did it!”

‘Why, did you kill Tom” asked the sheriff in a nice and kitten’s voice.

    “I … I… don’t know.” sighed the policeman.

“Guilty!” yelled the sheriff, as he hand-cuffs the policeman.

From this day, the sheriff still is confused why did he tell me?

  13. Dean woke up to the sound of “chink, chink, chink,”. He couldn’t believe his eyes… Was he dreaming? A tiny, little woman, with insect wings was standing on top of his chest of drawers taking a tooth out of his sock drawer.
He watched her put the tooth in her bag.
    “Nooooo!” Dean screamed.
He grabbed the baseball bat and whacked the flying woman upside the head.
“Next time you’ll think twice about taking my tooth!” he yelled at the unconscious little woman lying on his dresser.
He stuffed her in one of his dirty gym socks and tied the top of it as tight as possible. He then proceeded to throw her around the room as if she were a rag doll.
She gained conscious yelling at him.
“I was going to give you some money for your tooth, but now forget it!” she screamed.
She flew at him and he ducked, as she narrowly missed his head. She then flew out the window, taking his tooth with her.
Dean dropped to his knees and started crying. He knew he had just missed his big chance to….. knock out the tooth fairy and take all her money!
    “NOOOO!” he sobbed.
“Next time” he thought “next time”.

  14. The McGraw Gang’s Hangin’
I was the deputy sheriff in Flagstaff, Arizona. That durned McGraw Gang had shot poor Al Jordan through the heart, stole all the money out of Wells Fargo Bank, and run off to the hills. I saddled up ol’ Jackrabbit (my horse) and rode off after em’ I caught up to em’ and exclaimed, “Pull over!”
They yelled, “You’ll have to catch us!”
They went faster, but I caught em’. Again I wailed, “Pull over!”
They again teased me by sayin’ “You’ll have to catch us!”
After goin’ on like this for an hour I decided to slow down until they were far enough ahead that I could follow them to their hideout.
When they arrived I hid ‘til sundown. Finally at sundown I came out and I hollered, “Got ya!”
They gasped, “Not ‘til ya find out what we’ve been up to.”
“Ha” I laughed, “ya admitted it! Caught in “ya own crime. Ya’ll under arrest!”
I took em’ back to town and threw em’ in jail for the rest of their lives!

  15. Money Isn’t Everything
Just yesterday, Tom was the richest man in New Mexico. Today, he is just another criminal behind bars. If only he hadn’t stolen that accursed treasure. It was said to be hidden in a cave at the top of the mountain.
Everyone tried to steal it but there was one problem, the ghost that guarded it. Once you get up there you never came back. They also declared that you always have to trade something to try to save your life or someone else’s life.
The announcers on the television proclaimed, “I would hate to be that guy.” Poor Tom was so greedy he went ahead and did it anyway.
When he got there he shouted with excitement. “All this money will make much richer and it’s all mine!”
All of the sudden there was a voice that said, “Touch my riches and you will die.”
So Tom backed away when all of the sudden he rushed forward grabbed as much money as he could and ran. He ran and ran until he reached town but he had to sneak through the night to get to his house.
As he was walking he met a poor old man who saw all the money and begged Tom to give him some.
“I’m so poor and hungry,” he pleaded. “Can’t you share some of that money with me?”
“NO!” Tom snapped, and with his heart being full of greed killed the old man.
As Tom rushed home the cops caught him and said, “Where did you get all that money?”
“I am the richest man in New Mexico, where do you think I got it” he said.
“Wrong, you stole it from the cave and then killed that man back there, the neighbor lady saw the whole thing so you are coming with me to jail.”
So now Tom waits for his death sentence in jail.

  16. Money isn’t everything
Just yesterday Tom was the richest kid in New Mexico. Today he is just another kid in juvenile detention. If only he hadn’t stole that accursed monkey named Babbles.
“Stupid Babbles!” yelled Tom, “why, why?” But then, all of a sudden, something said ” hey, come here.”
    “Me?” I asked.
“No, that dead fly over there, yes you!”it replied.
I walked over to the voice and sputtered” What do you want?”
He chuckled and I swore at him.”I want you to steal the candy on the front desk of this place.” It bellowed.
“What is your name? Show yourself!” I yelped.
“Once you steal the candy, I will show myself.”Said the voice.
So, I got out of my cell very quietly and stole the candy.”I got the candy, now who are you?”I cried. “ I am ……. Your BROTHER!!!”said the voice.
“I’m gonna kill you!!!” I screamed. Then I woke up to the breakfast bell.”yew,”I said,” it was just a dream.”

  17. The Haunted Cabin
Hi, my name is Isabel. I am going to tell you about a time I was lost. I had anyone tell me how to survive. I was lonely and always thought that I was going to stay out there for a while.

One day, I was camping in the woods with my parents and my brother. My brother`s name is Dene. My mom`s name is Heather. My dad`s name is Kyle. We had one of those pop-up campers. We just barely got there and started to make camp. We got the trailer all organized. Then Dene wanted to go on a hike. I asked mom. She replied, “Go ahead. Be back before dusk. Dinner will be ready then.”

Dene and I responded at the same time, “Yes ma`am.” We got packed up and set off on foot.

There was snow on the ground, and it was hard to travel through the snow. I stopped to talk to Dene, because I heard something. “Hey, Dene. Did you hear that? I questioned.

    Dene replied, “I didn`t hear a thing.”

“I could have sworn that I heard something,” I said.

We traveled on through the woods. We came to the top of this hill side and we stopped. I took another step, and the step turned into an avalanche. I rushed to the bottom. At first I thought I was floating, and then I was tumbling. I was scared to death. At the top I could hear my brother screaming as loud as he could. I was tumbling heel over toe. I disappeared under the snow. I got knocked out.

It was dark when I woke up. I was scared. I had to dig my way out of the snow. I made an opening and got out. Then I started to walk. I was alone at the bottom of the mountain. All I had on my back was a backpack, a half a water bottle full of water, a few granola bars, a cell phone that didn`t even work, and the clothes on my back. I had to walk for days to find a place where people live. I didn`t know where I was, and what direction I was going in. I was miserable walking. My legs hurt. I had to make a shelter that covered me every night. I think it was about the seventh night and I made a shelter, ate dinner, and went to sleep.

The next morning I got up. I ate, packed up, and headed off again. I was walking for a while, and then I noticed that I saw something in the distance. It was a cabin, and I ran to it. I looked around to see if there was a door, so I could get into the cabin. I found a door and opened it. I heard some weird sounds. The sounds were: moaning, crying, laughing, and creaking. I was terrified. I looked around, and made myself at home. It was like going on an adventure only in the house. There was food in the fridge. The food wasn`t moldy or old, and there was clothes in the closet. I kept looking, and I saw this bedroom door closed. There were lights on in the room. I could tell because the light was showing under the door. I went for the door. I was scared. I walked down the hallway and here came the door. I slowly put my hand up to the door knob. Then I gripped the knob and slowly turned it, and pushed the door open slowly. Guess who was in the room. It was my brother Dene. I was so happy he had found a way to the house. “All this time I thought there were ghosts in this house. I missed you so much.”I said between my crying.

Dene sighed, “I missed you so much, too. I thought you were gone forever.” Then there was a helicopter sound in the distance. We ran out the house door, and the helicopter set down. Mom and Dad got out of the helicopter, and ran to Dene and I. they gave us such a big hug. I was happy. Then we all went home and sat at the fireplace. I told my greatest adventure.

  18. Money Isn’t Everything

Just yesterday, Tom was the richest man in New Mexico. Today, he was just another criminal behind bars. If only he hadn’t stolen that accursed he wouldn’t have been in jail for a $200 necklace for his girlfriend Alexis. The Cops said he could get out if he payed the $10,000 fine for the damages and necklace then he could be released on his girlfriend’s birthday which she didn’t know of.
Tom was going to surprise her with the necklace he had stolen but payed for it this time.
He came to her house and knocked on the door. When she answered the door she looked so beautiful her hair was done like a princess. Her face had barley any make-up but it was wonderful. Her dress was white made of silk it was short and made her bare legs look tanner, the look on her face was a mix of happiness and worry.
When Tom pulled out the necklace she jumped in his arms with a surprise he caught her. He laced the necklace around her neck. She was so happy to see him.
Over the years they got married had kids, grew older together and died next to each other happily.

  19. I Saw It From the Shore

I was just standing on the sea shore, when the light from
the lighthouse passed over a large, dark figure in the water. It looked like a pirate ship! So I got in my boat and I paddled over to the ship, the all of a sudden I got pulled out of my boat, I was yelling and screaming! Then I got knocked out. As soon as I woke back up, I was in a jail sail of the bottom of the ship. So I stayed calm, and I tried to pick the lock, but someone came down the stairs. I said
“Who are you?” the man said
“I’m your mom” ha that’s funny I said. As he got closer I saw that he had a bag on his head. So I said
“So ugly you look.” “Are you running from the cops?”
Then he pulled out a sword and said
“I’m just making sure you do not know who I am.”
After he left I fell asleep, and woke back up on the beach.
“I have to come back here tonight, and find out who that was.” I said. I have to come back here tonight and have everything I need. Including a knife. So I came back, and the ship was there. As I paddled over there with my boat and I heard them talking about leaving the town and leave us alone I was so happy. Then they weren’t going to haunt this town. They were going to haunt the island in the middle of the sea.

  20. A pirate’s problem

He went to the boat dock there was a brand new pirate ship with a big camas and every thing after he bought it he painted a gold coin on the sail. Then he was driving it around he saw the boat.
With all of the gold and silver on it and he put his boat in high gear and took off heading straight for the other boat and boom the two ships collided and the boat with all the gold and silver. Blew up all the coins flew I went picked them up and cashed them in andi was living a dream with all that money

  21. The McGraw Gangs Hangin’
I was the deputy sheriff in Flagstaff, Arizona. That durned McGraw Gang had shot poor Al Jorgan through the heart, stole all the money out of the Wells Fargo Bank, and off into the hills. I saddled up ol’ Jackrabbit (my horse) and rode off after ‘em but as I rode after them over the hill they was gone. Like some ghost er somthin’. I was so creeped out I rode Jackrabbit all the way back to the county jail. I was shaken like a leaf when I walked in the jail. The mayor Cletus asked, “what’s wrong you look like you seen one of them ghost.”
    “I think I have” I replied
“What are you thinkin’?” Cletus said
“I don’t wanna be talkin’ about it.” I screeched
“Well why don’t ya work on the papers over there me and Ruby are gonna go and ride around to look fer some trouble.” Cletus blurted
As I worked on the papers it looked out the window and the McGraw boys were hangin’ on the gallows dead I walked out the door and it looked like they done killed themselves all I thought was the trouble is gonna de much less here in Flagstaff I got Jackrabbit and tided the bodies up and dragged them out to be buried them in the ol’ grave yard.

  22. Magic Forest
Boy was he ever surprised, when that big, oak tree began to speak to him but Andy screamed and then he said “How come I can hear you?”
The tree replied” Because you are lonely every day.” But the tree said” I have always talked, not to you but with other trees.” Then had school, through the forest, every day for six years. He had never seen that tree.
The boy was scared but the he asked what was his name and the tree said “My name is Becky and I’m going to give you one friend his name is Victor. Victor is a tall handsome Hispanic.

  23. A Ghost in My Room

I woke up one night, and saw the image of a ghostly figure, standing over me. I just about wet the bed! I tried to scream, but my jaw hung open with no sound coming out. Then the ghost started to talk ‘Hey do you have any food?’ he whispered.

‘No why would I have any food?’ I asked.

Then as the ghost walked out of my room a hand came out from under the blanket on his head. He opened the door and was gone.

In the morning at breakfast I asked my brother ‘Did you see anything last night?’

    ‘No nothing. Why?’ He answered.

‘Oh I don’t know, I just might have had a bad dream. I’ll get over it.

Then the next night I told myself I am going to trap that ghost. I had a plan, knife, flashlight, and most of all I had my phone in case I had to call the police.

I shut of all of the lights and put my phone on silent. I got under my bed. Then it got really dark.

As I was hiding under my bed the ghost came in then he jumped on the bed and started looking for me.

I jumped up and yelled ‘looking for me.’ Then I turned on my light and jumped on him. Next I took off the blanket. Under the blanket was my uncle John!

  24. I Saw It From the Shore.
I was just standing on the sea shore, when the light from the lighthouse passed over a large, dark figure in the water. It looked like a gust I was very sacred I felt like it someone was there with me I spanned turned but nothing was there it was very uncountable I had never felt like this before.
Suddenly I heard something I was mare frighten than ever before.
The screech of an animal of some soft. No I was wrong it was that figure forcing out the since of a head. It was coming close. I tried to run but couldn’t
Suddenly it grabbed me completely terrified of what was I fainted .The last thing like and was a law dangerous chuckles. It was true I confessed I had been tricked.
It was just my friends playing a joke on me because they wanted to see how brave I was I was very sacred but they got a good laugh out of it at the end I will always love my friends even when their mean to me.

  25. A Ghost in My Room
I woke up one night, and saw the image of a ghostly figure standing over me. I just about wet the bed! I tried to scream, but my jaw just hung open with no sound coming out. Then the ghost was somehow trying to talk to me. I never really believed in ghosts until that night in Amityville, Connecticut. I always thought that ghosts were in white sheets and had chains that rattled and clanked and said “Boo”. So I asked “what it would you like” and it said
“I need you to find my bones down by the river in the river you will see a gun take it to the police and they will know who killed me 20 years ago.”
I wanted to know why he chose me so I did it. My mother mentioned a shortcut to the river the next morning. I went to the river and started to dig, what felt like hours later I found the bones and sure enough there was the gun.
When I brought it to the police station they laughed at me for bringing them the gun. I thought to myself “Why are they laughing at me this is serious.”
Hours later after the incident with the police they came to my house and gave me an award. They told me that the killer had been caught. I asked “Who was the victim.”
They said “It was a little boy my age.” I had been so happy I got a 5,000 dollar award just for finding a gun.

  26. I Saw It from the Shore

I was just standing on the sea shore, when the light from the lighthouse passed over a large, dark figure in the water. It looked like a dead body that was on the water floating around.

I have heard of a murder last week, so I went to go check it out. When I saw the dead body it was an ugly old lady that looked like witch.

She had a really black and white curly hair, black dress, really yellow ugly teeth, and she had long nails that were black.

I went home and told my mom that I found a dead body in the shore but she didn’t believe me so I told her, “Why don’t you believe me?” cried Elsa

“All the trouble that you’ve gotten in ever since you decide you wanted to be a gangbanger.” Said Elsa’s Mom

“That was a year ago Mom” replied Elsa.

Then after our argument I went back to the shore and the body was still there. I went to find out myself about the mystery. I found a lot of clues about this witch lady.

I went to the police station and gave them my mystery journal where I took notes about that mystery. The police saw all the clues and everything I have with me. The police told me, “Thank You for your help.”

I replied “No problem I’m just trying to be a better person.”

“When you grow up you would be great investigator.” Said the police.

After that I went home and showed my mom my certificate that the police gave me. She was very proud of me after what have happened in the past.

  27. I Saw It From the Shore
I was just standing on the sea shore. When the light from the lighthouse passed over a large, dark, figure in the water. It looked like a fat zombie cow. I went to take a closer look at the strange fat thing, when it came up out of the water and started to chase me down the shore. I saw a boat up ahead. I ran faster but when I got there the boat was covered in blood.
“Holy crap! Bad time to go fishing,” I said.
    “Moo,” said the zombie cow.
Then I ran to a house that was on the beach. I threw the cow a dohnut. The zombie cow stayed and ate it and started to chase me faster. I got to the house I looked inside and its whole family of fat zombie cows eating a pizza hay.
Then a zombie girl came running at me. I saw a banjo and grabbed it and hit the zombie in the head,
    I said ,”Bad zombie!”
The zombie cried ,”OW! That hurt!”
The zombie saw a dohnut and went to grab it then I hit her hand.
    I cried ,”My dohnut!”
    Zombie ,”ok gosh.”
    Me ,”Yay!”
    The End.

  28. The McGraw Gang’s Hangin’
I was the deputy sheriff in Flagstaff, Arizona. That durned McGraw Gang had shot poor Al Jorgen through the heart, stole all the money out of the Wells Fargo Bank, and run off into the hills. I saddled up ol’ Jackrabbit and rode off after ‘em.
Jackrabbit took off. He ran faster than ever. When I found the McGraw Gang they were making camp.
Bobby assured “they’ll never catch us ‘ere.”
“What about that darn deputy?” Cloey asked.
Nick exclaimed, “If he finds us we’ll do him in as well as Jorgen.”
All of a sudden a dead body floated toward them from the river.
They nearly jumped out of their skin.
Then the deputy came out of the trees and said, “hold it right their!”
The gang was too stunned to speak then they all fell over dead.”
The sheriff went back to town and everyone was dead. He ran until he couldn’t run anymore until he found a town to stay and live happily with a wife and three kids.

  29. Little bears race
Little bear stood poised beside his opponent, White Rabbit. The two Blackfoot Indian boys looked at one another with determination. The race was about to begin. The winner of this important race would be given a golden metal and some jerky. They would also get a new rifle.
Also the one who won got a house full of gold and a bunch of maids to do all the chores. And for the bears, if they won a lot of portage.
Everybody in the town was there. Some were cheering for the animals but most all of them were cheering for the Indians.
The mayor had put all the people on one side and all of the animals on the other. The race was about to begin as soon as the mayor yelled “go”. So they just waited along time with a lot of anger and confusion. The animals were getting wrestles and saying “you can do it” and “these Indians think they are all that well we don’t think so.”
The Indians were in the lead, all the animals were cheering. It almost was over. The Indians were ahead and getting tired and started walking.
The animals were pasting them self’s. The Indians thought their way back there. They went to sleep and the bears passed them and the Indians finally woke up and said I can catch up, but it was too late the bears had already won the race.
So remember just because you are human you can’t win everything. Don’t judge an animal just because it doesn’t have the same ability of an human because sometimes they do.

  30. Little Bear’s Race
Little Bear stood poised beside his opponent, White Rabbit. The two Blackfoot Indian boys looked at one another with determination. The race was about to begin. The winner of this important race would be given a gold medal and $1,000. Little Bear was very scared that he might not win the race.
The two Blackfoot Indian boys stared at Little Bear and told him, “What’s wrong with you?’’
The Little Bear replied, “I’m scared that I might lose.”
The Blackfoot Indian boys just got worried about him. They said,” Little Bear don’t worry you might get second place or even first place, just believe in yourself. We are scared too, but if you just relax you might win.”
Little Bear replied,” Ok, but what happens if I lose?’’
The two Blackfoot Indian boys said,’’ It won’t matter as long as u had fun.”
Then the race started. Little Bear was running as if he was being chased by a huge monster. Little Bear had run four laps with his opponent, but he was like in the lead. He was like ten feet away from the others.
He said to himself, “Believe in me.”
The he ran as fast as his little feet can take him. The finish line was five feet away. He crossed the finish line with joyful and he had never thought he could make it.
He said, “Yes believe in you.”
He won the gold medal and $1,000.

  31. The Magic Forest
Andy had walked home from school, trough the forest, every day for six years. He had never seen that tree before… Boy, was he ever surprised, when that big, oak tree began to speak to him he was telling him to run from the wolves that were behind him trying to kill him, he ran to his friends house, Ethan to be safe. But outside Hugo was fighting the wolves but sense he’s so fat he lost, Andy and Ethan were the only ones left Andy when to the roof, but Hugo won the fight and he went to the roof and he threw Ethan to the wolves and they kill him, but before he died he said “no way the strong Hugo threw me to the wolves way is he that strong way.”

And then he died it was so sad but Hugo and Andy had to survive from the wolves but Hugo was so fat he ate Andy and the wolves as for Ethan and the tree they had 50 kids and soon died of diabetes.

    • You did a very goog job it was very well writen. I think it would be wise next time to add a little bit of mistery.

  32. Little Bears Race
Little Bear stood poised beside his opponent, White Rabbit. The two Blackfoot Indian boys looked at one another with determination. The race was about to begin. The winner of the race would be given a jar of honey some money and a giant lollipop.
They waited with anticipation it felt as if the whole world was in slow motion. Then they bit the tail of the monkey.
Then the races were off. Halfway there the hare saw a coffee shop and he ordered a mocha mint with carrot shavings and a twig on the side. He just about left, when he saw the other racers pass him up. He got mad and took off.
On the way out he bumped into an old lady that cried out,”Hey you there watch where you’re going.” With a scratchy old voice that cut deep into his skin like a dagger being scrapped down his back.
Then little bear heard a voice in his head that said,” Just believe.” Little Bear took off and won the race and got the money, honey, and the giant lollipop.
His mom came over and said, “I believed in you.” Little Bear was so happy he shared his winnings with everyone, and they were happy.

  33. A Ghost in my Room
I woke up one night, and saw the image of a ghostly figure, standing over me. I just about wet the bed! I tried to scream, but my jaw hung open with no sound coming out. Then the ghost started walking towards me, I was in shock I didn’t know what to do for a moment it disappeared. Then I tried to scream once again but again no sound would come out I got under my blanket, covered my face up and thought of something but I had no idea what to do.
I was under my blanket and I could feel the cold air from the ghost my teeth started to chider, It was midnight already and he was still there, there was no body home except for me then I heard a sound of a car I told the ghost to get away from me that I didn’t want nothing from him then for a second I couldn’t see him anymore when my mom walked into the room I was so happy and yelled, “Mom!”
    “What’s wrong?” she questioned.
“There was a ghost in my room.”
    “A ghost?” she asked.
“Yes mom I saw him standing by the door.”
“Don’t worry, everything’s fine now, we are here.” She said
That made me feel better I was really scared, but now my mom and dad were here and I knew that the ghost was gone, after that my mom covered me up with my blanket and sat by me until I fell as sleep.

  34. A Ghost in My Room

I woke up one night, and saw the image of a ghostly figure, standing over me. I just about wet the bed! I tried to scream, but my jaw hung open with no sound coming out. Then the ghost farted in my face and he ran into my closet. I had never smelt such a raunchy fart in my whole life.
The next morning I figured I just had a dream so I went to school, came home, and ate dinner, and then I went to my room. When I got to my room I saw a big fat turd on my pillow I cried EWWWW!!! It was giant then I realized that I hadn’t seen my dog for two days.
When I got to thinking I thought maybe my dog was the one who did it but then the ghost came out of the closet and said “Do you like your present?” as he laughed hysterically.
I started to yell at him I began “You disgusting thing how could you do that to my pillow!”
He said “It was easy all I did was waited till I needed to go then I squatted over your pillow and did my business.”
As the ghost was explaining the boy grabbed a baseball bat and hit the ghost in the head in that instant he disappeared all that was left was a sheet in the ground.
The little boy never saw the ghost again and the mystery remains unsolved.

  35. Solomon’s Journey
Solomon had been hiking with friends, in the mountains, above Stanley, Idaho. He didn’t
know how he had gotten separated from the rest of the group, but there he was alone in the wilderness.
Solomon was looking for his friends until he saw something taking their friends one by one . It was huge,
tall , green, and ugly looking. Then he looked over his shoulder and saw the population and it said
“ Nobody lives.” So he went and…

Saw what was going on and somebody or something taking his friends he did not know what to do so
he followed them for hours and hours and hours finally he found where they lived and tried to call the
cops but he was to far in the woods.

The creature that had been taking Solomon’s friends finally came out and showed its face. The creature
came from behind and got Solomon and threw him up into his mouth, and nobody has heard from
    them since.

Until the Sheriff came into town because, their was a complaint. So he came to check it
out, all he saw was blood all over the place, so he called for back up . But he found out that there is no
service out in the woods .

    McGraw.
“Maybe he went up in the mountains,” I wondered.
“But in order to find McGraw Ima’ have to call the other sheriffs in town,” I said to myself.
So I called fo’ backup. I was in charge of the whole pursuit. We chased that McGraw man all through
the hills. Finally we found old McGraw. We found him dead!
“This is so awkward,” declared the deputy sheriff.
“Yes it is,” added another sheriff.
“If we didn’t kill em’,” said the deputy sheriff, “who did?”
“This is so mysterious!” cried all the sheriffs.

  38. Money Isn’t Everything
Just yesterday, Tom was the richest man in New Mexico. Today, he was another criminal behind bars. If only he hadn’t stolen that accursed money from the bank. He had a partner who had helped him steal that money. Why wasn’t he behind the bars? His partner was missing, obviously. There were wanted signs all over, but they didn’t have his picture on it. He must have gotten away before anyone had arrested him, or saw him.
“Have you seen Tom’s old partner ‘round?” the sheriff urged.
“No, I don’t know where that thief is” I said.
“Well,” the sheriff paused, “we sure do need to find him. We can’t just let him get away with all of this.”
“I know sir, but we don’t know what he looks like.” I sighed.
“I do” the sheriff added as he pulled out his gun.
“Wait,” I yelped. “You’re his partner in crime.”
“Yes, I am,” the sheriff interrupted.
    “What, that’s crazy,” I wailed.
“Yes, I know. Nobody would even guess it was me,” Just when he was about to kill me the other cops saw him.
The next day all of the wanted signs were gone. Everything seemed to be back to normal. And, of course, Tom’s partner in crime was behind the bars.

  39. The Adorable Couple
This adorable couple met because of some friends. The guys name is Frank and the women’s name is Bobbie. They went on their first date to a Pizza Shop. They watched people make pizza by hand. They even got the chance to toss the pizza they would eat together. His father had taught him how to treat a woman. He knew Bobbie would want to go on a second date.

The second date they went down to the private pond his father owned. They went out in the water in the canoe. Bobbie learned why he had taken her on this date. Frank took her on this date because they had to use teamwork to row the canoe. Frank thought she was a wonderful, beautiful woman. When the date ended they both went home thinking about each other.

That night Frank went out to his local Jensen Jewelers and bought a ring. He was waiting for the right moment to “pop the question.” They had another date their third date. They went out to Outback Steakhouse. They talked about how both their parents approved of each other. He was going to wait until the next date to ask her to marry him. When she got inside she told her parents about how wonderful the date was. He was full of joy and excitement for he was going to marry this wonderful woman any day now.

The next day they went on their fourth date where he would propose to Bobbie they would go on a sleigh ride. It was planned and set in stone. She agreed to go on the date. Frank about halfway through the sleigh ride Frank asked, “Bobbie will you marry me?

Bobbie replied, “Oh yes Frank I will!”

Bobbie was weeping with joy. When Bobbie got home she told her parents the excellent news. They were delighted she found the right guys for her.

  40. Money Isn’t Everything
Just yesterday, Tom was the richest man in New Mexico. Today, he was just another criminal behind bars. If only he hadn’t stolen that accursed gun.
“I never stole anything,” so the police officer started asking him questions like where he was at nine that night.
Tom answered “I was with my family, “but the officer didn’t believe him, because the officer had called his house at nine that night, and was told by Tom’s wife that Tom wasn’t around.
“The officer told Tom, “If you admit to the crime your punishment will be short.”
    “But I’m innocent!” cried Tom.
So they went to the place where the crime took place they watched the surveillance footage, and found out something.
They found out that Tom was innocent the police officer said “Tom was framed “because someone put the gun in his jacket pocket.
So they let Tom go, and the police men started looking for the man that they really stole the gun.
Three days later they found the man that they were looking for and put him behind bars. Tom was still the richest man in New Mexico with his wife and kids.

  41. A Ghost in My Room
I woke up one night, and saw the image of a ghostly figure, standing over me. I just about wet the bed! I tried to scream, but my jaw hung open with no sound coming out. Then the ghost started to get closer to my face, but still no sound came out. I was really scared because I thought the ghost was going to attack me, until I got up and ran out of my bedroom. Then the ghost started to giggle.

I had nothing to protect myself with, so I grabbed a pan. Three more ghosts came out. I knew it was a dream so I hit myself in the face with the pan. Then I woke up.

When I was sure I was awake I went to see if there were more ghosts in the house, but I didn’t see any, so I went back up to my room. When I got to my room I stayed up for a while. I found a book on my nightstand next to my bed. It was a mystery book that had ghosts. I realized I was reading it before I went to bed, so I discovered that I had a dream about the book. So then I went back to sleep.

I had a wonderful dream this time that wasn’t about the book that I read. But this dream also had a little mystery to it too.
    The End

  42. I Saw It from the Shore

I was just standing on the sea shore, when the light from the lighthouse passed over a large, dark figure in the water. It looked like it was a floating group of dead bodies. I called in the top mystery squad Scooby Doo and his gang.

‘’I was just admiring the view when I saw a group of dead, floating bodies, so I called you in,’’ David admitted.

    ‘’ Dead bodies’’ Shaggy cried.

‘’Yes, there was a group of them, all in a pile,’’ he informed

    ‘’That’s crazy, where?’’ they asked.

‘’Over there by the lighthouse,’’ David stated

So they went to the lighthouse and looked around in there for about two hours getting spooked by rats, and wild cats but no people. Then they got a boat and went to go check out the bodies and they were all dead but just one was left gasping for air.

They took him aboard to ask him questions like; ‘’Who did this?’’ and ‘’ Why are you the only one still alive?’’

He replied ‘’ All I remember is waking up on a pile of dead bodies’’

    They interrogated the boogeyman until he confessed on murdering all those innocent people. He only had one thing to say and it was;

“ I would have gotten away with it if it weren’t for you meddling kids and that dumb dog!”

  43. Money Isn’t Everything
Just yesterday, tom was the richest man in New Mexico. Today, he was just another criminal behind bars. If only he hadn’t stolen that accursed pony.

“I shouldn’t be here, “said Tom, “It was just a pony.”

“Oh, shut up!” cried the man next to him, “It’s just a pony, and I stole a truck from a store and look where it got me, a jail cell.”

“Well if it’s just a pony, why then are you makin’ a big deal a big deal ‘bout it?”

The man next to him said,”’cuz it was the county sheriff’s pony!”

“Oh, well I didn’t know that, now my mom is probably really mad because I don’t got no more money.”

“You think that’s bad, try goin’ to my house, my mom will get angrier than a bull chasin’ after a cowboy.”

“I think I’ll pass, “said Tom. “That pony is a lot of trouble.”

  44. I Saw It From the Shore

I was just standing on the sea shore, when the light from the lighthouse passed over a large, dark figure in the water.

I wondered what it was. I had no clue. It was really big. It was almost twenty feet long. It was also very hairy. It was like a Bigfoot in the sea.

It swam off to fast to get a better look though. I had to go home.

The next morning I was so anxious to find out what it was. It could be anything from a fish to a sea monster.

I went over to my friend’s house. His name was Wyat. I talked to him about. “What could it be?” I asked him. He said, “I have no clue.”

We went back to the shore. The place I had seen the mystifying monster.

“Where could it be, “I mentioned. “Anywhere,” he replied. “What should we do?” he thought. “We should catch it,” I proclaimed.

We prepared for the scary night ahead of us. We got everything from nets to goggles and wetsuits.

That night we headed down to the shore. I was so scared. We had to do this.

We jumped in and hoped for good luck. I felt something glide by me, but when I looked back there wasn’t anything. I felt it again. This time as soon as I felt the presence I stuck my net out.

There it was. A huge sea monster.

We hopped out and ran for the coast guards.

When we got there I said, “We have a monster.” They didn’t need any more.

We ran for the shore and dived in.

When we got to the net, nothing was there. It was empty. I did find something though.

There it was a huge hole in the net. A huge slit.

The coast guards said we had to let it go. We headed home never knowing exactly what it was.

The next morning I woke up. I thought to myself. What am I going to do. There is nothing. Now nobody will ever know what that strange beast monster is.

  46. Money Isn’t Everything

Just yesterday, Tom was the richest man in New Mexico. Today, he was just another criminal behind bars. If only he hadn’t stolen that accursed 14.8 million dollars from the government. Nobody one knew how he did it.
One day in the investigation room, the investigator said, “Why did you steal all that money?”

Tom replied,” I wasn’t thinking at the time. I had too much to drink that night and my head wasn’t clear.”

“That isn’t a good enough reason!” the investigator implied. “You shouldn’t of been drinking in the first place,” the investigator stated.

“I was at my brother’s party. I really didn’t mean any harm!” Tom said looking extremely worried.

The investigator then questioned, “How did you get in there to steal the money anyway?”

Tom looked exceedingly shocked and then sighed, “Well, some of my pals and I had met up with the guards and managed to bribe them in with 1 million dollars each.”

The investigator boomed out, “What? They actually agreed with it too? Those guards aren’t going to be working there for much longer! Well, I guess you are not going to be paying them now!” The investigator said with a smirk on his face.

Tom then rumbled, “Well I know I’m never going today them again, but I’m just not sure what is going to happen now!”

The investigator then praised, “You sir, are going to jail! Case closed!”

  47. I Saw It From the Shore

I was just standing there on the sea shore, when the light from the lighthouse passed over a large, dark figure in the water. It looked like a huge mermaid. Only one thing was different. This mermaid was half shark. She had sharp teeth and a dorsal fin. When she and I made eye contact she started swimming very fastly torwards me. I screamed and started running, but she was to quick for me. She had already turnred into a beautiful human. I turned around for one second and thats when I saw how beautiful she was.

I tripped backwards over the rough sand. She towered over me, tall and skinny. She looked at me like I was weak. (I felt like it.) But then something strange happened. She got down on one knee, bowing her head to me. I was about to whack her on the head and run when she spoke.

I was very surprised. She sounded like a man! ” What happened to your voice?” I asked.

    “Nothing.” She answered.

She then explained how the boys speak like girls and the girls speak like boys. We kept talking for hours, when my mom came and got me.

“Do you have a shellphone?” asked the mermaid.

“No, but I have a cell phone.”

From that day on we were best friends. We called each other, and on special occasions we had a picnic on the beach. That is the tale of my mermaid friend and I.

  48. I Saw It From the Shore

I was just standing on the sea shore, when the light from the lighthouse passed over a large, dark figure in the water. It looked like a gigantic sea monster. “Oh my goodness what is that?” cried Luke

“I don’t know,” said Albert. “ It somewhat looks like a tall, chubby, long snake!”

    “I don’t think it’s a snake,” Luke declared.

Albert sprinted, and dove behind a huge boulder.

Luke was left there standing alone waiting for help.

Luke called “ Come back here!”

    “No” Albert replied.

“Do you have a flashlight or something?” asked Luke

“No, and I’m not coming back over there,” Albert demanded.

While Luke and Albert were having an argument the spooky figure started creeping closer and closer.

Albert tried warning Luke, but Luke wouldn’t pay any attention. Albert passed out on the shore, because he was so scared.

Luke rushed to Albert’s side. Albert eventually woke up.

They agreed on going closer to the unusual figure. As soon as the lighthouse light came around again the monster had vanished.

Albert and Luke ran quickly home to their parents. “Mom!” they cried “There was this monster and it was huge and frightening!”

“Oh sweety there was no monster.” Mom proclaimed. “Just go to bed!”

The next morning the two young boys woke up and realized it was all just a dream. There was no monster or anything. The boys then laughed about it and new there was nothing to be scared about.

      • Money Isn’t Everything
Just yesterday, Tom was the richest man in New Mexico. Today, he was just another criminal behind bars. If only he hadn’t stolen that accursed jewel. He could’ve been home enjoying life, but now he couldn’t.
Jamie (my best friend) and I were talking about it when she told me that Tom swears he didn’t steal it.
“Oh sure he didn’t steal it,” I accused.
“No I swear he didn’t steal it. It was all that young Sherriff’s fault,” Jamie said defensively.
“Well let’s go and talk to him about it at least,” I suggested.
        “Okay,” Jamie sighed.
We found Tom laying in the dirt, face-down, and not breathing.
“Ahhh!” Jamie screamed, “What has happened to him?”
I had no idea, but I suggested, “Let’s go talk to the Sherriff.”
When we found the Sherriff, we asked him what had happened and he replied “Ol’ Tom was screamin’ and yellin’, and then he just fell.”
We all guessed that he had a heart attack and died.
I decided to go in and see if there was any clue as to who stole the jewel.
When I had approached him I found a plotted out plan of how to steal the diamond.
“I guess it was him,” I stated, “Well I guess he got what was coming for him.”
And with that, we all walked away wondering the same thing, “How did Tom mysteriously die?”
