Here’s an example of a comment worth 10 points:
In my classic novel, Othello, by William Shakespeare, there’s a conflict between Iago and Othello. Iago is jealous of Othello’s power. Othello has risen through the military ranks to a position of power. He is invited to the homes of senators. He is adored by his beautiful wife–who is white. Yet Othello is a black man. (Why this should offend Iago, I can’t imagine, but it does.)
Iago gets Othello to believe that his lovely young bride has been unfaithful to him, and Othello believes this falsehood. Othello kills his wife. Then he kills himself. It doesn’t really resolve this conflict, but it does bring it to an end, and sadly, an unpleasant one.
