When Charlotte Lucas says, “I’m twenty-seven years old, I’ve no money and no prospects. I’m already a burden to my parents and I’m frightened. So don’t you dare judge me Lizzie. Don’t you dare!” she is becoming a more dynamic character than she had been before. Explain what was static about this character (Charlotte) before this point in the novel and what elements of her character change in this scene, making her character dynamic at this point. End your comment with your own opinion. Is this a good change for Charlotte or a bad one? Justify your opinion with a brief explanation.
